Mikkel Legarth’s Volunteer Dream Positions

Lost Adventures was founded by Mikkel Legarth from Denmark. He also co-founded “Modisa Wildlife Project”, a wildlife conservation project in Botswana featured in the award-winning series "Saving Sirga: Journey into the Heart of a Lion," available on Netflix.

Lost Adventures is named after a leopard called Lost who Mikkel cared for while volunteering in Namibia in 2008 and 2009. His experiences and the close bond he formed with the leopard prompted Mikkel to let go of his dream of becoming a commercial pilot to co-found Modisa Wildlife Project and Lost Adventures.

Lost Adventures offers 15 different and exciting adventures: You can for instance get behind the scenes at one of Africas most famous private game reserves (known from i.e. Nat Geo Wild), join the whale shark research boat at the Maldives or teach English and assist the local community next to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania!
